From 2023 to 2024: Reflecting on the Past and Planning for the Future
As we carefully put a tidy bow on 2023, it's the perfect moment to pause, take a deep breath, and reflect on the journey of the past year. With the turn of the calendar, we also find ourselves gazing into the metaphorical crystal ball, eagerly anticipating the adventures and opportunities that lie ahead in 2024.
In this blog post, I'll share my personal and professional experiences from the past year and provide a sneak peek into what's on the horizon for the upcoming year. And, just for fun, we'll sprinkle in a touch of alliteration because, well, alliteration rocks.

Personal Highlights: Family Growth and Adventurous Travels
I first think of family growth. In February, I welcomed my first niece and watching her grow has been an adventure in itself, as she is about to start walking. I can’t help but think how so much can change in a years' time.
My adventurous, awe-inspiring journeys took me to:

🎲 Las Vegas;
💨Chicago for a Mastermind I was able to host with my amazing friends and biz-besties, where we mentored 10 growing solopreneurs over the course of 2023;
🏛️ Washington DC;
a very spontaneous trip to Peru for all the delicious eats (seriously, go to Peru!); and
🌄 a 35-day (12 National Park) road trip to check off my states #48 and #49 (Idaho and Oregon if you were wondering). I’d love to connect with you when I am where you live - add yourself to the client map!
Professional Milestones: A Year of Growth and Success
It’s hard to think that it’s been less than a year since I brought in Ruth to work with me as my executive assistant. I am so grateful for all the help she is providing for me. She allows me to keep my brain focused on client work, and she works on keeping me in line, organized and on track.
2023 brought in the impact of VIP Days - I rolled them out in 2022 and really got into the grove in 2023.

In the Spring of 2023, Kartra introduced their Certified Partners Program (a revamp of their Experts Program) and, after a thorough vetting process, I was one of the first invited to be a part of their founding group of Certified Partners.
In August, I kicked off the Kartra series “Novice to Ninja” with a Mastering Memberships Class on Kartra’s Membership area. If you missed it, you can find it here in the Kartra Facebook Group.

Platform Evolution: Kartra's Impressive Journey in 2023
Kartra also saw sizable growth in 2023 with a revamp of their pricing levels and some stellar additions. From webinars to funnel simulators, and what I find most exciting - a renewed commitment to community, cultivating knowledge, and clear communication.

Platform Updates: Adapting to the Alterations in the Digital Marketing Landscape
The entire digital marketing world is going to undergo a huge change in February with required email verifications coming from Google and Yahoo. Kartra Mail does not currently support the ability to update SPF, DKIM, and DMARC settings, but the platform is being adjusted to meet these changes. Kartra is working on a solution to be compliant with these changes that are expected in Mid-January.
