Kartra’s SEO Paramaters

Within Kartra’s page settings you have SEO Parameters that you can add information to help search engines find your pages better, resulting in people being able to find you.

SEO means Search Engine Optimization

  • PAGE TITLE (Required)

    • Character Limit: 50 Characters

    • What goes here: A catchy and accurate description of what this page is being used for.

    • TIP: This is what shows up in the tab at the top of the browser AND as Title in search results.

    • Example: Become a Productivity Ninja in 30 Days!

  • PAGE META DESCRIPTION

    • Character Limit: 150 Characters

    • What goes here: A short summary of the page content designed to get readers to click through

    • TIP: This is displayed in search results

    • Example: Join Coach Tofu's 30-day program to master productivity hacks and become a Ninja of Efficiency. Say goodbye to procrastination forever!

  • PAGE META KEYWORDS

    • Must be comma separated

    • What goes here: Meta keywords are a list of important keywords relevant to the page. They are not heavily weighted in modern SEO.

    • TIP: these would be the words you want to rank for

    • Example: productivity course, online coaching, time management, efficiency hacks, Coach Tofu, productivity ninja, overcome procrastination, boost productivity, time management tips, become a ninja, productivity transformation, Coach Tofu's program, online course for productivity, master efficiency

  • PAGE AUTHOR

    • Character Limit: 50 Characters

    • What goes here: The author's name to establish credibility.

    • TIP: Include any certifications or degrees

    • Example: Coach Tofu, Productivity Expert

  • PAGE OG: TITLE

    • Character Limit: 50 Characters

    • What goes here: This is the page title used for social sharing.

    • Example: Unlock Your Inner Productivity Ninja with Coach Tofu

  • PAGE OG: DESCRIPTION

    • Character Limit: 150 Characters

    • What goes here: The OG description for social sharing to encourage engagement

    • Example: Transform your life in just 30 days with Coach Tofu's signature program. Learn top-secret ninja productivity tricks!

  • PAGE OG: IMAGE

    • An engaging and relevant image for social media sharing.

  • HIDE FROM SEARCH ENGINE

    • Use this option to prevent the page from being indexed by search engines if needed. Leaving this off (Gray) will allow the page to be optimized and searched by search engines.

 

NOTES AND TIPS ON KARTRA SEO PARAMETERS

  • To submit your pages to Google Search Console - https://search.google.com/search-console

  • You can update multiple pages at once using Kartra’s Sites Feature

  • If you clone a page it DOES copy over the SEO DATA

  • If you name a page Kartra automatically uses the name you named it as the Page Title

  • If you are sharing to social and the old SEO info is showing up, you need to run your page through a debugger (sometimes called post inspect)
