Starter - One Domain is included
Growth - Up To 3 Domains are included
Professional - Up to 5 Domains are included
Enterprise - Up to 50 (!) Domains are included

I liked Google, until they sold to Squarespace, and while I love Squarespace I just don’t love them for domain purchase.

What is a Domain? And A Subdomain?
Think of your domain as your digital address. Just like your home address directs people to where you live, your domain directs visitors to your website. It’s the unique name that appears in the URL bar of your web browser, like www.yourbusiness.com.
A subdomain is like an extension of your main domain, used to organize and navigate to different sections of your website. It's added to the beginning of your main domain, separated by a dot. For example, in blog.yourbusiness.com, "blog" is the subdomain.
Think of your Main domain (yourbusiness.com) as your home, and it can live in one place and IF you choose to use a subdomain, like an apartment or a mailbox down the street. It’s still you, but just somewhere else.

Pineapplerelations.com is my website and is on Squarespace
learn.pineapplerelations.com is my Kartra subdomain.
Subdomains can be incredibly useful for:
Organizing Content: If you have distinct areas of your website that serve different purposes (like a blog, store, or support section), subdomains can help keep things organized.
Targeting Specific Audiences: You can create subdomains to cater to different offers, audiences or regions. For example, course.yourbusiness.com for your online course or blog.yourbusiness.com for your blog.

Imagine you run an online business called "Healthy Life" with the domain healthylife.com. You could use subdomains to enhance your site structure and user experience:
healthylife.com: If is your main website and is on Wordpress or Squarespace
shop.healthylife.com: A dedicated space for your online store. (Maybe this is a shopify sgtore
blog.healthylife.com: A vibrant blog where you share tips and articles.
learn.healthylife.com: A online learning center for your courses and educational materials.
support.healthylife.com: A resource center for customer support and FAQs.
Why You Should Have a Custom Domain
Having a custom domain is vital for several reasons:
Professionalism: A custom domain makes your business look credible and established. It shows that you’ve invested in your online presence.
Branding: Your domain is often the first impression people have of your business. It should be memorable, easy to spell, and reflective of your brand.
SEO Benefits: Search engines favor websites with custom domains, which can help improve your search engine ranking and visibility.
If you don’t use a custom domain in kartra you are going to use page links that display yourusername.kartra.com/pages/12345HH and noone wants that - and it’s not very professional or on brand.
How To Connect Your Domain or Subdomain In Kartra
Once you have purchased your domain let’s get it connected to Kartra.
Connect Your Main Domain
Log into Your Kartra Account: Navigate to your Kartra dashboard and go to the “Custom Domains” section under the “Avatar” Circle.
Add a New Domain:
Click on the large blue “Domain” button.
Enter your domain name (e.g., www.yourbusiness.com) and click “Next”.
Choose a main domain or subdomain
FOR A MAIN DOMAIN
Update Your DNS Settings:
Kartra will provide you with specific DNS settings to configure your domain. These settings include a CNAME records and a redirect.
Log into your domain registrar’s dashboard and find the DNS settings or DNS management section.
Update the DNS records as provided by Kartra. This step can vary slightly depending on your domain registrar, so refer to their help guides if needed.
Choose your Index (home) page, 404 page, and favicon.
Verify Your Domain:
After updating your DNS settings, return to Kartra and click “Yes, I have completed the steps above to link my custom domain to Kartra!” & “Next”
It may take a few minutes to a couple of hours for the DNS changes to propagate. Once verified, your domain will be connected to Kartra. If it takes more than a few hours, in my experience, it will not connect. It will time out after 24 hours.
FOR A SUBDOMAIN
Update Your DNS Settings:
Kartra will provide you with specific DNS settings to configure your domain. These settings include a CNAME.
Log into your domain registrar’s dashboard and find the DNS settings or DNS management section.
Update the DNS records as provided by Kartra. This step can vary slightly depending on your domain registrar, so refer to their help guides if needed.

Assign Your Domain to Your Kartra Pages:
Go to the “My Pages” section in Kartra.
Select the page you want to assign your custom domain to and click on “Publish”.
Choose your custom domain from the dropdown list and publish your page.
